Vertigo Sound VSC-3 Compressor

The Vertigo Sound VSC-3 Compressor is a nod towards the best VCA based compressors of the 70s and 80s with some unique and innovative features, making it a combination of classic based topology and modern mastering grade signal path. Two rows of controls represent channels A and B and offer continuous threshold control, stepped controls for ratio, attack and release, and a continuous make-up gain.

The VSC-3 sees the addition of a redesigned side-chain that now offers the choice between true stereo, mono sum or dual signal adding further flexibility when using the side-chain filter. But that is not all, the time constants have also been updated with the addition of four new attack release times while the inclusion of a toggle switch helps alternate between Peak and RMS modes, changing dramatically the response of the compressor.
